About an hour's flight from the East Coast's Ogle Int'l Airport, is majestic Kaieteur Falls: the Potaro River, a tributary of the Essequibo River, drops (one of the highest perpendicular drops in the world) an impressive 741ft.
The more interactive, Orinduik Falls are about a 30 minute plane ride from Kaieteur Falls. You are able to climb in behind the falls and experience an amazing 'spa massage' as the water pulsates over you... Brazil is literally a hop step and a jump away, on the other side of the river. The leaves on the yellow plant have the texture of an emery board and the plant itself is used for natural beauty products.
